The Indy Pass was created to be a great value for skiers and boarders who want to get the most out of their winter at authentic, independent resorts and in 2020, we've ratcheted up the value by adding 11 new resorts. That takes our resort count to 55 for anyone who's counting.

That means that regardless of the region you live in, you've got access to even more resorts to get the most bang for your snowriding buck for the 2020-2021 season.

The Upper Midwest
If you live in the Upper Midwest and you're looking for close-by day trips, we have you covered. Looking for getaway destinations? We also have you covered.

This year, Indy Pass has added two resorts in the great state of Minnesota: Lutsen Mountains and Buck Hill. For folks who want a great day trip from Minneapolis/St. Paul, Buck Hill is a great option — in the Fall of 2016, they introduced the first Neveplast Summer Snow Surface in North America to allow for year-round skiing, snowboarding, and tubing. If you're looking for a weekend getaway at one of the coolest destinations in the Great Lakes region, Lutsen Mountains features four interconnected peaks overlooking Lake Superior to bring you big mountain skiing with Up North authenticity.

We also added the #1 resort in Wisconsin, Granite Peak, to complement Little Switz, Tyrol Basin, Trollhaugen and Nordic Mountain. Granite Peak's 700 feet of vertical offers stunning views for miles, plus night skiing and high-speed lifts across the entire mountain.

On the East side of Lake Michigan, we added Crystal Mountain—a family-owned, four-season resort destination located 28 miles southwest of Traverse City, featuring downhill and cross-country skiing and the award-winning Crystal Spa so you can get your relaxation on after a rough day on the slopes.

The West
Out West, we beefed up considerably in the Northern Rockies with Tamarack Idaho joining Brundage in the West Central Mountains and just a couple of hours from Boise. Tamarack's 90 miles north of Boise on the shores of Lake Cascade and features onsite lodging, skiing and snowboarding as well as Nordic and snowshoe trails and an average of 300" inches of that fluffy Idaho powder every season.

Just a few hours south, we've added Snow King Mountain in Jackson WY - every local's favorite for easy, uncrowded slopes and avoiding the mega-crowds. Aprés everything in Jackson is pretty much as good as it gets.

Further South, Indy Pass holders will find another hidden gem in Whitepine WY, a north-facing powder magnate that's been considered a "local's hill" (and a helluva value!) for over 80 years.

Rounding out our Western expansion is the 8th largest ski resort and another undiscovered bonanza of Sierra powder, China Peak. Avoid the congestion and high prices at Tahoe and head a bit further south. You won't be disappointed.

The East
In the Northeast, we have 11 resorts to choose from - that's 22 days for just $199! This year, we welcome one of the most popular indies in New Hampshire, Cannon Mountain. Home to the state's only tram and one of the best ski racing venues in New England, Cannon is located in beautiful Franconi State Park and was the site of a 1967 World Cup Race at which Jean Claude Killy won all three events! Paired with Bolton Valley, VT, and Black Mountain NH, Cannon adds some serious appeal in Northern New England.

In the Southeast, we're proud to welcome Winterplace in West Virginia, joining Canaan Valley WV, Cataloochee, NC, and Ober-Gatlingburg, TN giving our passholders in Atlanta, Charlotte, and the surrounding areas one more great option. Winterplace is the most accessible and affordable ski resort in the southeast, as well as the resort with the largest teaching area—they were voted the #1 resort for learning by Blue Ridge Outdoors Magazine.

Some pretty amazing spots, no? Find your region and discover even more reasons you should sign up for your Indy Pass today.
