What are Blackouts and Reservations?

Indy Pass Partners are Independent and that is why we love them.  To allow these independent gems the flexibility they need to provide the best guest experiences we give resorts the ability to choose to blackout specific dates and/or require reservations.  

Indy Base passes are subject to blackouts.  Indy+ passes are not subject to blackouts. All pass types are subject to the reservations and capacity policies of Indy Partner resorts.

Blackout dates apply specifically to the Indy Base Pass and Indy AddOn Base Pass. Indy+ Passes are not subject to blackout dates. To help avoid overcrowding, a handful of resorts will require advance reservations this season. Please visit the individual resort page prior to your visit for information regarding reservations.

Required Reservations for the Learn to turn

To accommodate the Ski School element of this visit, the below resorts require advance reservations for Learn to Turn Passholders ahead of their visit. Please connect with each resort to plan your desired visit. 

Cancellation Policy: If a Learn to Turn reservation is cancelled within 72 hours, or there is a no-show for an advanced reservation, there is no refund offered and the redemption will be processed for the day of your reservation. No more than one redemption per day is allowed on any Indy Pass.

  • Bear Creek Mountain Resort
  • Berkshire East
    • We offer this package on weekdays and Saturday evenings starting at 4:30pm. This is a one-hour lesson. Reservations can be made in advance, or day of, depending on availability.

  • Blacktail Mountain, MT
  • Bolton Valley Resort, VT
    1. Make your reservation at least 48 hours in advance.
    2. Email Guest Services at [email protected] with the subject line: Indy Learn to Turn. Include your name and date of birth. If multiple family members are redeeming, include names and dates of birth for each person. You will receive a one time promo code for each eligible guest.
    3. Register for your lesson online. Each guest may need to complete a separate transaction.
    4. On the day of your reservation, check in at the Ski School desk to pick up your pass and get started.

  • Bousquet Mountain, MA
    • To redeem an Indy Pass Learn to Turn product at Bousquet Mountain, an advanced reservation (minimum 1 day in advance) is required BEFORE traveling to Bousquet. Reservations are subject to availability and may not always be available based on demand.  Each participant using a Learn To Turn product at Bousquet requires a separate reservation.  To make the reservation, please visit:  Indy Pass Learn2Turn Reservation - Elevate.  Indy Learn to Turn Passholders must create an online account and make a reservation using the product link above.  Upon e-mail confirmation of your reservation, please bring this confirmation, your Indy Pass and a valid ID to any ticket window or Guest Services at Bousquet before visiting the rental shop, lesson or lifts.  If you have not been to Bousquet Mountain before and don’t already have the required re-loadable Bousquet RFID lift access card, please include this optional $5 charge in your reservation to expedite your arrival experience.

    • Contact Christie Mountain by calling (715) 868-7800 or by e-mailing [email protected] to schedule your visit. Reservations must be made 48 hours in advance of your desired visit date.
  • Chestnut Mountain Resort, IL
  • Dartmouth Skiway, NH
    • Aspiring skiers can reserve their visit here and snowboarders can reserve their visit here.
  • Dry Hill Ski Area, NY
  • Eagle Point, UT
    • Reservations for Eagle Point can be made online here.
  • Greek Peak, NY
    • We strongly encourage you to make your reservation at least 48 hours in advance to ensure a seamless experience. Advance reservations can be made by creating a Greek Peak account here and emailing [email protected] with the following details:
      • First & Last Name
      • Date of Birth
      • Indy Pass ID
      • Date of Arrival
    • If you arrive without an advance reservation, you will need to visit The Mountain Shop retail shop on-site to redeem your pass. Please note that same-day redemptions are subject to availability and may result in delays.
  • Hunt Hollow, NY
    • Reservations for Hunt Hollow can be made here.
  • Jay Peak, VT 
    • Call 802-988-2722 to book.
  • Kelly Canyon, ID
    • Click here to make your reservation. Once confirmed, simply show up at the resort with ample time before your lesson to check in with your Learn to Turn pass, collect your rentals, and pick up a beginner-area lift ticket.
  • Loup Loup Ski Bowl, WA
    • Contact Loup Loup Snowsports School at [email protected] to schedule your visit. Please mention the Indy Pass Learn to Turn program in your message. Reservation requests must be made one week in advance of your desired visit date.
  • Manning Park, BC
    1. Head to their site and see when "Intro to Ski" Package is offered online, as the LTT lessons will sync with these lessons.
    2. Send en amail to [email protected] with your desired date(s) and Indy Pass number.
    3. Bookings are non-refundable.
  • Maple Ski Ridge, NY
  • Marquette Mountain, MI
    • Contact Marquette Mountain by email at [email protected] or call 906.451.5036 to book your Learn to Turn Lesson. Lessons must be booked 48 hours in advance of your desired visit date and are available Saturday or Sunday at 11:00 am or during the week based on availability.
  • Massanutten Resort, VA
    • Please call 540.289.4921 during operating hours to request a LTT reservation. Reservations are first-come, first-served. Lesson options:
      • Beginner Package (Ages 13+) – Includes Adult Slope-Use Ticket, Adult Rental Equipment, and a 2-hour Group Lesson.
      • Theo Package (Ages 7–12) – Includes Junior Slope-Use Ticket, Junior Rental Equipment, and a 2-hour Theo Group Lesson.
    • After the reservation is completed, guests will receive an itinerary number, which they should keep for their visit.
    • Lesson reservations can only be processed by Learning Center staff. 
    • If you have any questions, please call 540.289.4921 or email [email protected] and a staff member will respond within 24h.

    • To schedule your Learn to Turn visit, please email [email protected] with your preferred date. We ask for at least 48 hours’ notice to guarantee lesson availability. Same-day walk-ins may be accommodated depending on staffing and space, but advanced scheduling is the best way to secure your spot.

    • Please call 518.483.3740 and ask for Ski School to reserve a spot. Titus will offer group lessons at 10:00 am and 2:00 pm on Friday, Saturday, and Sundays and also on American holidays.
