FAQs

How do i use my pass?

To use your Indy Pass, simply walk up to the ticket window and show your physical pass or a government-issued ID just as a Driver's License. They will print you a day ticket, process a redemption for the day, and you're free to ski! Some resorts have blackout dates and/or require advanced reservations. Please check the blackout dates page before planning your visit. Blackout dates for the 26/27 season will be announced in the fall.

Indy Pass does not guarantee access to a resort partner's events or special programming beyond the scope of a regular lift ticket. Examples may include races, music festivals, competitions, etc.

Your pass may only be redeemed once per day and is non-transferable.

Resorts using RFID access systems may charge an additional fee for the purchase of the resort-specific RFID card.  These cards are typically reusable and last multiple seasons, so please hold on to them and reuse them on your next visit to these resorts.

physical Indy Pass Card

This Indy Pass can be used to redeem your 2 lift tickets and third discounted day at each partner resort, as well as access discounts on products and services from other Indy Pass partners.

Once your Indy Pass is activated, you can access your ski days with or without your physical card. Physical cards will be shipped in the fall for the 26/27 season. If you don't have your physical card on you and wish to visit a resort, you can simply bring photo ID to the ticket window that matches the name on your Indy Pass account.

To ensure timely delivery of your pass, please log in to your profile and confirm that your account is active and "ready to ski". Activation required the following:

  • Uploaded a headshot photo (no sunglasses, no hats)
  • Signed the waiver
  • Completed payment
  • For Add-On and Employee Passes, photo verification is required. Verification for these two items is manual and may take up to two days.

Subscription FAQs

Do I need to subscribe to purchase an Indy Pass?

Yes. To obtain a 26/27 Indy Pass, a subscription purchase is required. By purchasing a 26/27 Indy Pass of your choosing with a subscription, you will be guaranteed a pass every subsequent year at the lowest renewal price so long as you remain subscribed. You can opt out of the subscription at any time after purchasing a 26/27 Indy Pass, retaining your purchased pass for the season but forfeiting your spot, purchase priority, and renewal pricing for future years. A vacant renewal spot will then be offered to the next person on the waitlist if capacity allows at that given time.

Do I need to sign up for the waitlist?

If you are a returning Indy Base, Indy+, or Learn to Turn Passholder from any season, you will be given first dibs at purchasing a 26/27 Indy Pass with a subscription. If you don't secure your pass during the spring sale, you will need to sign up for the waitlist.
If you are not a returning passholder, you'll need to sign up to the waitlist for a chance to purchase a 26/27 Indy Pass. There is no guarantee Indy Pass will be available to purchase if you are not on the waitlist. You can sign up here.

Why Does Indy Pass use a waitlist and cap sales?

Indy Pass limits the number of passes sold each season to stay true to the independent, less-crowded nature of our member mountains. As demand for Indy Pass has increased over the years, the waitlist provides a first-come, first-served approach to purchasing the pass while allowing the lowest possible price for renewing members.

Will the Payment Plan Be Offered on Subscription Purchases?

The Payment Plan will be available for all purchases making it more affordable for all. Indy's Payment Plan continues to be offered at zero interest and with zero 3rd party banks (unlike the big guys). The first 1/3 of your payment will be collected at the time of purchase, followed by a second payment the following month, and one last payment the month after.
