Apex Resort is nestled in the Western Okanagan region of British Columbia. This big mountain terrain with a small-mountain village atmosphere was stumbled upon in the 1940s. Eager local downhillers went looking for new terrain to ski. Apex's diverse terrain was discovered on the Beaconsfield Mountain. Thus, Apex Resort was coined, representing the energy of the highest point on the mountain. Although it's important to note, Apex Resort is not literally the highest peak in British Columbia. What Apex is known for is its high-quality epic snow. Due to Apex's prime location, the slopes receive light, dry, and YES, famous champagne powder. The slopes receive an average downfall of 600 centimeters of snow per year, which makes this area ideal skiing for all levels.
