One of Austria’s most beautiful ski resorts is located in the back of the Kaunertal: the Kaunertal Glacier, embedded in a mountain landscape with over thirty-three-thousand metre peaks. From the quiet village of Feichten, the Kaunertal Glacier Road leads right into the centre of the ski area. There are no long queues or overcrowded pistes here – just the white mountains, perfect snow conditions and you.
There’s also fun on the slopes for young and old in the nearby family ski area of Fendels, which is smaller but very relaxed and manageable – and included in the glacier ski pass.
