Don’t spend the entire summer waiting for winter (only ~120 days until first tracks but who’s counting?)—instead, try one of our favorite summer activities at higher elevations and lower temps.

Castle Mountain, AB, Canada
Trade in your ski poles for hiking poles this summer. Skiers time and time again make the mistake of losing their ski legs and claiming that the summer is the ‘off-season’. We see you watching Bode Miller films and checking the storm cycle, losing muscle mass as you read this.
It’s time to get back on the mountain. The mountains are filled with wildflowers this time of year so you can see the summer beauty of the landscapes you ski all winter long while preparing for the season ahead.
Castle Mountain, pictured above, has 360-degree views from its hiking trails and two different alpine lakes to see while exploring their trails.
